About the position

We are on the lookout for a dynamic Trade Finance Specialist to play a vital role in our Treasury Team. In this position, you will be instrumental in managing and improving working capital, trade finance instruments, and driving positive change in our group.

Main responsibilities

-Manage, improve and optimize working capital efficiency, overseeing trade finance instruments such as letters of credit, guarantees, sales of receivables, as well as supply chain finance.

-Work closely with the business and division to able to evaluate and recommend appropriate financing options tailored to the specific needs of each trade transaction.

-Introduce and implement a new trade finance tool for guarantees and LCs, and manage the change process within the group for enhanced efficiency.

-Stay current with global trade regulations, sanctions and compliance requirements to ensure adherence to international standards.

-Build and manage relationships with external parties, and negotiate terms and conditions with various stakeholders, including financial institutions

-Continuously improve Trade Finance processes in the group, identify opportunities for enhancement and stay informed about industry best practices.

About You

To thrive in this role, we expect you to have:

-A strong educational background, preferably with a degree in Finance

-Knowledge of various trade finance instruments, including letters of credit, documentary collections and supply chain financing.

-Ability to assess and mitigate financial risks associated with international trade and geopolitical risk.

-Proficiency in using analytical tools to interpret trade finance data, identify trends and make informed decisions.

-Strong negotiation abilities to navigate and secure favorable terms with various parties involved in trade transactions.

-Demonstrate a proactive commitment to ongoing learning, staying abreast of industry trends and advancements
