Reynsla af sambærilegu starfi væri æskileg en þó ekki skilyrði. Viðkomandi þyrfti að búa yfir þekkingu á eftirtöldum sviðum til að geta unnið við starfið

* Utanumhald á Windows, Linux og Mac stýrikerfum.

* Uppfærsla, uppsetning og stilling forrita, hugbúnar og tölvuvélbúnaðar.

* Úrræðaleit (e. troubleshooting and providing technical support)

* Að búa til og hafa umsjón með kerfisheimildum og notendareikningum.

* Framkvæma reglulega öryggisprófanir og öryggiseftirlit.

* Viðhald net- og skráarkerfa.

* Viðhald á heimasíðu hótelsins og samfélagssíðum o.s.frv.

Um er að ræða nýtt starf sem auglýst er til reynslu í eins árs til að byrja með, starfið er mögulega 80%-100% starf. Einstaklingurinn sem ráðinn verður hefur jafnframt tækifæri til þess að þróa starfið í samvinnu við atvinnurekanda.

Íslenskukunnátta kostur en góð enskukunnátta er skilyrði.

Greitt er samkv kjarasamningi Afls. Laun til að byrja með væru um 2700 kr. á tímann í dagvinnu.

Lilja Guesthouse is looking for an IT specialist to join the team.

LILJA Guesthouse is located in Hornafjordur, in the South East region of Iceland

Working hours are from 8:00-16:00 or 09:00-17:00, but according to an agreement. The job is for one year to begin with.

Education: university education is reconmendes, i.e. BA, BS, B.Ed degree (undergraduate) in Computer and Information Technology

Experience in a similar job would be desirable, but not a requirement.

The employer would need to have knowledge in the following areas to be able to work on the job:

* External maintenance on Windows, Linux and Mac operating systems.

* Updating, installing and configuring software, hardware and computer hardware.

* Troubleshooting and providing technical support

* Creating and managing system permissions and user accounts.

* Conduct regular security testing and security audits.

* Maintenance of network and file systems.

* Maintenance of the hotel's website and social pages, etc.

This is a new job advertised for a trial period of one year to begin with, the job is possibly 80%-100% full time. The person who will be hired also has the opportunity to develop the job in cooperation with the employer.

The person would need a driver's license

Knowledge of Icelandic is an advantage, but good English is a requirement.

Payment is made according to the Afl collective agreement. Salary to begin with would be around ISK 2700.  During the day.
