As a Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen, maintain high culinary standards, and provide exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for supervising kitchen staff, assisting in menu planning, food preparation, and ensuring all dishes meet quality and presentation standards. The ideal candidate should have a strong culinary background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for creating delicious and innovative dishes.   Responsibilities:

Assist the Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.

Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to established recipes, cooking techniques, and safety standards.

Collaborate with the Head Chef in menu planning, creating new dishes, and developing seasonal menus that reflect the restaurant's concept and customer preferences.

Oversee the inventory of kitchen supplies, ingredients, and equipment, ensuring proper stock levels are maintained.

Ensure that food quality, taste, and presentation meet the restaurant's standards and customer expectations.

Monitor and control food costs by minimizing waste, optimizing ingredient usage, and maintaining portion control.

Implement and enforce proper food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and hygienic working environment.

Stay updated on industry trends, new techniques, and culinary innovations to continuously enhance the menu and overall dining experience.

Collaborate effectively with the front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and timely delivery of food to guests.

Assist in scheduling kitchen staff, managing shifts, and handling any staffing issues that may arise.
