Descripción de la oferta de trabajo:

Mission:

To be responsible for the investment administration and day-to-day management of Private Debt, Infrastructure, Private Equity funds portfolios for which SGPWM acts as AIFM and/or Investment Manager/Advisor with a specific involvement on the valuation framework and the approval of asset pricing.

This implies the preparation and the organization of Valuation committees and the ability to supervise and coordinate the different related scenarios:

• Perform valuations in-house, ensuring independence between the valuation function and the portfolio management function

• Carrying out valuations internally, while calling on the assistance of a third party for specific issues (e.g. assistance in defining the valuation process and policy, setting up valuation models, collecting and reprocessing market data, independent review of valuations, etc.)

• Supervision of the valuation function when delegated to a third party

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Oversee the compliance of the management company's valuation framework in particular

• Reception, collection and recording of the documents required for the valuation of investments

• Update of investments valuation as regard of ongoing events (CAS publication, Capital Call / Distribution notice, valuation report…)

• Communication with internal and external Portfolio Managers

• Back testing of valuation computed with the audited Financial Statement

• Communication and collaboration with internal and external auditors and answer to regulatory requests

• Secure and validate asset pricing and valuation input for liquid equity and debt positions from external and internal sources, including market databases and brokers

• Maintain model pricing for illiquid assets as well as agree and verify new position models with the firm's Risk Management Team

• Reconciliation of fund accounts and validation of NAV reports as computed by administrators

• Organization of the management company's valuation committee

• Prepare and manage the operational input for information and reporting tasks towards: Investors, Directors, Regulators and other stakeholders in respect of alternative investment portfolios

Valuing these assets requires in-depth technical expertise and the exercise of professional judgment. The exercise of professional judgment introduces a certain level of subjectivity into the valuation process, which can lead to biases in the absence of a strong control environment. In this context, the AIFM directive imposes guidelines to promote best practice in valuation processes, particularly in terms of segregation of duties and management of conflicts of interest.
