Your role: The Senior Application Consultant for IT Applications acts as Service Delivery Manager and combines a set of responsibilities aiming to ensure operations but also to drive technical implementations based on project requirements. You assume the E2E responsibility for various non-core SAP ERP solutions such as Lifecycle Management Applications and process automation & modelling tools (Winshuttle Evolve, ARIS) to provide state of the art solutions. This includes the implementation of appropriate systems enhancements following established processes to meet customer requirements. You will interact with our business facing organization to plan, prepare, execute and monitor projects as well as individual Change Requests. This will be done by leveraging technical skills provided by ‘Solution architects’ and ‘Application Engineers’ but also by external partners. In this role we require an excellent functional understanding of corresponding applications and the processes they support. Thus you should be in the position to consult business partners to find suitable and sustainable solutions meeting customer demands. To assume the described role we are looking for a person who’s been working in IT, has thus preferably already some experience working with listed applications and is capable to drive and coordinate assigned tasks and deliverable towards completion.

Who you are:

- Bachelor/Master degree or equivalent in Computer Sciences and/or Business Administration

- 10 year experience in software or applications services

- 5 year experience within an international environment

- English mandatory (written and spoken), German language an asset

- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

- Strong written and oral communication skills

- Ability to make difficult decisions and act autonomously

- Technologically/engineering mindset meaning interested and keen to search and get to know new best practice applications and services to pursue our digital agenda

- Good knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management tools preferably within Micro Focus Application Lifecycle Management (VERA)

- Good skills in programming basics, EntityRelationshipModel and SQL

- Good insights into compliance processes and GxP

- Provides a wide IT knowledge in various areas such as Infrastructure, Application including SAP/SAP basis, Compliance and Cypher Security as well as Service Management
