- You will take on purchasing projects at Austrian Airlines and the Lufthansa Group and have the opportunity to initiate and manage projects independently.

- You actively observe the market and monitor the selection of suppliers to be considered worldwide.

- Together with the specialist service, you develop the specification of the service or materials and actively intervene in the process.

- You initiate, plan and conceptualize tenders and contract documents.

- You will support the specialist service in implementing the contract and actively manage the contract throughout its term.

- You provide support in cross-divisional/corporate change processes with purchasing relevance.

- You actively use and maintain all purchasing-relevant IT tools and support the further development of these tools and the processes in purchasing.

Ihr Profil:

- Completed university degree in economics, engineering or similar

- At least 3 years of experience in purchasing or engineering, aviation experience desirable

- Very good negotiating skills, assertiveness, communication talent and intercultural competence

- Business fluent in written and spoken English

- Strong willingness to innovate; ability and willingness to adapt own strategies, goals and tasks to changing situations

- Willingness to travel and interest in international projects

- Fascination with technical aspects and interest in the aviation industry

- Unrestricted access to the Austrian labor market
