About Us:

Femern Link Contractors (FLC) is a joint venture responsible for the design and construction of the immersed tunnel, tunnel portals, and ramps. Our venture comprises nine international construction companies, each with extensive experience in large-scale infrastructure projects. Together, we are committed to delivering a state-of-the-art immersed tunnel on time and safely, with a focus on sustainability and ethical practices.

Key Activities:

• Overseeing all activities related to material storage and deliveries, both internally and externally
• Organizing and supervising the loading/unloading of trucks from suppliers and managing internal logistics
• Consulting on and implementing storage requirements, delivery plans, and storage plans

Main Responsibilities:

• Planning and ordering consumables and lifting equipment
• Delegating tasks to logistics and store workers, and evaluating labor and material requirements for each task
• Maintaining accurate records of hours worked and equipment used each day using computer systems
• Planning and preparing the storage of materials according to weekly delivery and storage lookahead in multiple storage areas
• Recording the location and time of each material's storage
• Ensuring materials are stored in good condition and per requirements
• Safely packing, lifting, loading/unloading, and transporting materials using various trucks and lifting equipment, such as crawler cranes, tower cranes, Manitou, boom trucks, etc.
• Ensuring safety during operations and resolving any problems that may impact safety and quality

Personal Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in logistics on construction sites
• Proven experience in lifting operations
• Proven experience in managing multiple storage locations
• Experience working with different trades (steelworks, concreteworks, etc.)
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills
• Excellent management and leadership skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Danish, Polish, or Romanian is a plus
