HGV Vehicle Technician. Dublin. Irlanda

Job Description & Skills Required

City Bus Ltd T/A Dublin Coach   have an opportunity for an experienced HGV mechanic to join our team, looking after one of the largest privately owned fleet of Busses & Coaches in Ireland.

This role will involve:

    Maintenance of our fleet of over 100 vehicles, ensuring they run in optimal condition.

    Day to day running repairs.

    Carrying out monthly inspections

    Preparing for CVRT testing

    Diagnosing faults and malfunctions

The Ideal candidate will have:

    An HGV Mechanic qualification

    2+ years HGV experience. Bus & Coach experience would be preferred.

    Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles

    Experience working with:

    Diagnostic systems

    Gear boxes.

    ABS systems

    Air Conditioning systems,

    Electric installations

    Door systems

    An HGV Licence, Bus Licence preferred.

    A high level of technical knowledge.

    Good Communication skills, and proficiency in both written and spoken English.
