jacando is looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer with a backend focus to join our team. In this role, you'll work on various aspects of our system landscape using modern technologies like NestJS, MongoDB and React. You'll contribute to build scalable systems, improve user experience, optimize performance, enhance functionality, and troubleshoot issues.

Responsibilities

- Directly contribute to our backend services

- Integrate your solutions in the client

- Design solutions and database schemas for new features powering our cloud software Contribute to a great developer experience

- Ensure our codebase is up to date and services are well monitored and logged and adheres to most recent security standards

- Stay updated with the latest backend technologies and infrastructure trends

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Full-Stack or Backend Developer

- Demonstrated ability to produce clean, well-structured, and maintainable code, adhering to best practices and efficient documentation

- Expert proficiency in TypeScript and MongoDB with an in-depth understanding of modern frameworks and libraries, particularly NestJS

- Good knowledge of Git, Docker and React

- Experience with writing tests with Vitest or Jest

- Effective communication and collaboration skills with a keen eye for detail
