We're Hiring: an Early Years Educator, for learners 1-3 years old

Starting March 2024, Syros

Responsibilities:

Show a passion for improving each child's learning experience

Collaborate with colleagues to set high learning standards in a best-practice environment

Plan and create a stimulating classroom for independent learning

Use the Montessori philosophy in Boundless Education

Track and assess each child's progress according to Boundless Education policy

Communicate progress and targets through detailed reports

Ensure the safety and well-being of all children

Engage in continuous professional learning for personal and educational growth

Build strong connections with parents and carers

Promote a positive learning environment through emotional intelligence

Contribute to a team culture of learning and support

Share regular updates with parents using learning management platforms

Identify common themes across different Boundless destinations

Form personalized connections with each child

Create engaging learning experiences through innovative lesson planning

Lead three parent-teacher or student-led conferences within a 3-month cohort

Apply the Montessori philosophy in smaller-scale quests

Collect data for end-of-cohort Growth Trackers

Qualifications:

Educational qualification in early years education (1-3 year olds)

Montessori-trained

Minimum 2 years teaching experience

Excellent English language skills

Good to have:

International educational setting experience

Mindfulness

Local language proficiency

Adaptability in changing environments

Additional information:

Strong in communicating in English, since this role is for a lead educator at an international school

Comfortable with technology, and open to learning new apps and digital tools

Montessori background is necessary

EU citizenship/residency is required
