HGV Artic Drivers. Midland. Irlanda

Due to expansion, Irlequip Ltd is looking for 2 HGV Artic Drivers based at Ardnaponra, Co. Westmeath, N37 HN50.

This is a permanent, full-time position.

40hrs/wk

€39,000/annum

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Experience in using Artic and rigid trucks with knuckle cranes.

Securing loads to applicable safety and company standards and properly arranging and balancing same on the vehicle.

Ensuring any mechanical issues with the vehicle are corrected before driving.

Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules.

Complying with truck driving rules and regulations

Reporting defects, accidents and violations

Performing daily maintenance of truck (refueling, cleaning)

Loading and unloading box trucks with forklifts and pallet jacks

Interacting with customers in a professional manner

Performing pre and post trip vehicle inspection reports

Recording cargo deliveries

Verifying loads for accuracy

Communicating and co ordinating with base regarding delivery schedule
