Venture Studio Co-founder. Noruega

Hi! I, Erlend, am founding a new venture studio, REspire focused on climate tech (energy transition and circularity), see company description for motivation.

I am looking for 2-3 co-founders to found and develop the studio alongside myself. Jointly we will:

• Ideate and evaluate ideas

• Test selected ideas

• Develop MVPs with the support of third party contractors

• For validated ideas: Recruit founder teams and then help them raise funding and grow

• Build a structure that enables us to implement effective processes for the above tasks including learning and improvement loops

• Raise funding at the studio level

• Build a culture and grow the team

Personally my experience is in renewables and green hydrogen across roles in engineering, contracts, business development and project management. I also have experience as a startup founder and angel investor with a strong network in the Nordic ecosystem. I am good at analysis and expressing ideas.

I am looking for co-founders who complement myself both in terms of personality and experience/background. It's important that you are passionate about climate tech and startups. You also need to be in a place in your career where you are willing and able to forego a salary while we prove the concept and raise funding. In return you'll get founder equity and will be able to help form how REspire is built. Beyond that, I am open to different backgrounds and skills, but some that might be useful are:

• VC and finance background with ability to bring in LPs at the studio level and later supporting startups in raising financing

• Product managers who are skilled in getting from idea to product

• Designers who can build efficient frameworks for ideation, testing, and MVP development

• Sales- og business development experts who are good at creating B2B sales and partnerships

• Innovation ecosystem experience either from accelerators/incubators or from working with research institutes in commercializing new technology.
